Been down to a couple of meets but only just found the forum  So I thought I'd introduce myself. I reside in Hemel Hempstead, when I'm not working. When I am working, I reside on a ship usually bobbing around somewhere in the north sea. I'm a huge trackday enthusiast and am more focused on performance than show and shine stuff. But don't get me wrong though, I can appreciate anyone who puts the time and effort into preparing a car, whether its for looks or performance. I've got 3 BMWs at the moment... 1988 E30 325i (the ongoing track/drift/fun project)  2001 AC Schnitzer E39 M5 (the thirsty but best daily driver ever)  1999 E46 323ci (new dedicated track car project)  Only ever been down to the meets in the M5 so far, because the E30's been off the road for the past year. But have just put it through its MOT, so all being well, will be heading down in that next friday ;D |

The M5 looks like a serious weapon.
I work in Hemel so may see you if you are out and about in the E30.

Cant wait to see how that E46 transforms into your new track day racer! have you done anything to it as yet? or still early days?

Most of the interior has already be stripped out. Just started putting some money aside for a cage and suspension, it'll probably be a little while before she's ready for track. I work in Hemel so may see you if you are out and about in the E30. Will keep an eye out for ya. Is the stunning E28 your daily drive? |

Got the e30 back in 2009 as a cheap runabout. Then I fancied something V8 last year, M5 was the best I could get for the money I had. The E46 was a freebie. I got it from a mate of mine. Its got a lot of what I like to call "character", he calls them faults. He wouldn't of made any money if he sold it. So he said if want to take it and turn it into a track weapon, I could, on the condition he gets to have the first play when its been setup.

Quick update, E46 track project has been canned, just didn't have space for it. Have decided to rebuild the e30 from the ground up as a full time track animal. Might start a build thread in the my rides section if anyone is interested.
